If you’re wondering how to pronounce my name, think “Jesse,” like Jesse Pinkman or Jesse McCartney. Or Jessie’s girl. You get the idea.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, I have always had a knack for empathy and finding what motivates others. From an early age, I had hoped to put this skill toward advertising. My undergraduate degree was earned at the University of Alberta, one of the top 5 universities in Canada, where I studied for my Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Strategic Management and Organization and a minor in Marketing (say that 10x fast).
Although this degree gave me many opportunities, I felt I still owed it to my younger self to pursue what I truly love. I found that path through a Master of Science in Advertising at Boston University, and graduated in December of 2021.
Strategy, specifically its focus on how research guides consumer insights, is my biggest passion within the advertising field. I find pure joy in understanding other people and how different demographics and audiences require tailored advertising.
My hobbies outside of work and education include baking, cuddling with my cat Momo, and pottery.
Thanks for visiting my website–I’d love to hear from you.
